For HubSpot Super Admins. New or Experienced.

HubSpot Academy hands you the buttons. We hand you the doctrine: how to walk into a messy portal, audit it, rebuild it, defend the decisions to leadership, and prove the impact. By Week 10 you don't just know HubSpot. You operate it like an architect.Cohort 1 runs Wednesdays, 1:00 to 2:00 PM ET, July 8 to September 9, 2026. Live, taught by the team that runs HubSpot for a living.

The Job Nobody Named

You Got Promoted Into a Mess Nobody Will Admit Is a Mess

Here's how it usually goes. Somebody left. Or the agency offboarded. Or you raised your hand one too many times in a meeting. And suddenly you're the HubSpot Super Admin, which is a fancy way of saying you now own every decision anyone made in this portal for the last six years. None of which you made.

So you open the portal and you find it. Three hundred custom properties, and nobody can tell you which thirty percent actually get used. A lifecycle stage model so tangled that “MQL” means four different things depending on who you ask. Workflows that fail silently, so the first time you learn one broke is when a salesperson asks why a lead from three weeks ago never got a follow-up.

Then comes the meeting that really stings. The forecast is wrong again. Lifecycle and deal stage confusion alone tanks forecast accuracy by 42 percent, and now the CEO is looking at a number nobody trusts, and the unspoken question in the room is: can we trust the system, or can we trust the person running it? That person is you.

Nobody trained you for the political part. Or the archaeology of an inherited portal. Or how to say no to “can we just add one more property.” Academy taught you where the buttons are. It did not teach you which decisions to make when every option is technically possible and most of them are wrong.

A Sidekick-Original Frame

The Difference Between an Operator and an Architect

Sidekick Original

Most Super Admins live as Operators. We install the Architect identity in Week 1, because nothing else in the cohort works until the identity shifts. You can learn every framework we teach and stay stuck if you're still operating as a button-pusher.

The Operator

  • Reacts: a request files in, a workflow gets built
  • Sales wants a property, the property gets added
  • The queue is the boss, the day is tickets closed
  • Every reasonable yes makes the portal a little worse

The Architect

  • Decides: asks what the request is really for first
  • Knows every property is something to maintain and defend
  • Treats the CRM like revenue infrastructure, not a help desk
  • Designs on purpose, so the portal gets better over time

You Stop Reacting and Start Designing

Requests get routed through a decision, not straight into a build.

You Earn Back Trust

When the forecast is clean and the dashboards hold up, leadership stops second-guessing the system, and you.

You Become the CFO of the CRM

You're the steward of the revenue layer, and you make decisions like money depends on them. Because it does.

The Super Admin Operating System

What You Install Over 10 Weeks: The 5 Layers of SAOS

SAOS is Sidekick's proprietary methodology for running a HubSpot portal like an operator, not a hobbyist. Five layers, each a discipline, each with its own dedicated weeks. You don't just learn them. You install them.

1

Identity

Who you are as a Super Admin. The mindset shift from Operator to Architect that makes every other layer possible.

2

Architecture

The data model and governance. Your objects, properties, associations, and permissions, designed on purpose instead of inherited by accident.

3

Operations

The automation layer. Lifecycle, lead scoring, workflows, and integrations that actually work and that you can actually defend.

4

Reporting

The decisions leadership trusts. Dashboards your CEO opens on a phone and believes before Monday standup.

5

Continuity

AI, change management, and the 90-day cadence. Breeze deployed with discipline, change sold to your team, and a system that keeps running when you're on vacation.

By the end, you've installed all five. That's not a certificate of attendance. That's an operating system.

The Curriculum

10 Weeks, 10 Decisions That Change How You Run HubSpot

Every week is one hour live on Wednesday, anchored to a SAOS layer, and built to be applied to your real portal the same week. These aren't lectures. They're working sessions.

Proof, Not Participation

You Don't Just Learn It. You Rebuild a Real Portal.

Every cohort member picks one real portal in Week 1. Your own, a client's, or one we assign you from the practice library if you need it. That portal becomes your Portal Rebuild, and it's the spine of the whole cohort.

Each week, you apply that week's framework to your portal for real. Week 2 you run the audit on it. Week 3 you plan the property purge. Week 4 you map the lifecycle. By Week 9 you've got a Breeze rollout plan. There's no “go apply this later.” You apply it in the room, every week, on a portal that matters.

Then in Week 10, you present your 90-Day Rebuild Plan to the room. Your peers, Casey, and George review it live. You defend your decisions out loud, the same way you'll have to defend them to your CEO.

That presentation is what earns the certification. Not showing up. Not watching replays. Doing the work and proving it.

The Sidekick Super Admin Certification

When you complete your Portal Rebuild deliverables and present your 90-day plan, you earn the Sidekick Super Admin Certification.

  • LinkedIn-displayable, with a verification URL
  • Certifies competence, not just knowledge
  • Anyone can verify it

Academy certifies knowledge. We certify competence.

Two Kinds of Operators, One Room

Built for New Super Admins and Experienced Ones Leveling Up

This is a deliberately mixed-tenure cohort. That's a feature. The new admins build the identity from scratch. The experienced admins reset bad habits and teach back, which deepens their own learning. Both leave sharper.

New to the Title

You just got promoted, or you just inherited the portal, and the job is bigger than anyone admitted. Maybe you've finished Academy's Super Admin Bootcamp and you know where the buttons are. What you don't have yet is the doctrine: which decisions to make, in what order, and how to defend them.

What You Get

The mental model, the frameworks, and a peer community so you grow into the role with intention instead of chaos.

Experienced and Leveling Up

You've been in the seat one to five-plus years. You taught yourself the hard way, and you're good. But you want strategic depth, advanced architecture patterns, real Breeze AI mastery, and a peer-grade room you don't get in Academy or a forum thread.

What You Get

A recalibration, advanced patterns, a Breeze deployment discipline, the political playbook, and a cohort of operators at your level.

Everything in the Box

One Requirement Worth Knowing Up Front

You'll Need Professional+ Portal Access

The Portal Rebuild is the heart of this cohort, and you can't rebuild what the platform won't let you touch. HubSpot's Free CRM doesn't include workflows, lead scoring, permission sets, or more than ten custom properties. Those are exactly the things you'll be auditing, redesigning, and defending across the ten weeks.

So we ask for one thing at the door. Think of it less as a barrier and more as a quality signal. This cohort is for humans actually running a real portal at scale, learning alongside other humans doing the same.

Professional+ portal access. Your own, or a client's portal you administer.

Not sure if your access qualifies? Apply anyway. We confirm Pro+ access during the application, and we'll tell you straight.

Want to see how we think before you commit? Join the free 90-Minute Portal Audit Masterclass on Tuesday, June 17, 2026. George runs a live audit on a real portal, shows you the exact diagnostic we teach in Week 2, and you'll walk away with a way to spot the three biggest problems hiding in your own portal right now.

It's free, it's live, and it's the lowest-commitment way to find out if the cohort is for you. (It's also where a lot of cohort members decide to apply.)

Common Questions

Frequently Asked About the Super Admin Operating System.

Why do I need Professional+ portal access?+
Because the whole cohort is built around rebuilding a real portal, and the Free CRM doesn't include workflows, lead scoring, permission sets, or more than ten custom properties. Those are the exact things you'll be working on. You need your own Pro+ portal or a client's portal you administer. We confirm this during the application.
How much time does this take each week?+
One hour live on Wednesday (1:00 to 2:00 PM ET). An optional 30-minute office hour on Friday (1:00 to 1:30 PM ET) if you want to get unstuck. And roughly 2 hours of Portal Rebuild work on your own portal. So plan for about 3 to 3.5 hours a week, most of it spent making your real portal better.
Are the sessions recorded?+
Yes. Every live session is recorded and downloadable for your cohort, so if life gets in the way one week, you never lose the material.
How long do I keep the Slack community?+
For life. Access to the cohort Slack community is lifetime, not a 12-month subscription. The case studies, the help, the fellow operators, you keep all of it.
What's the refund policy?+
You're covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, good through the end of Week 4. Do the work, come to the sessions, and if it's not delivering, ask for a full refund through Week 4. No drama.
I'm brand new to the Super Admin title. Is this too advanced for me?+
No. Week 1 builds the identity and mental model from scratch, and the frameworks are designed to be applied at any tenure. New admins consistently get the most dramatic before-and-after on their portals, because there's so much low-hanging fruit. You'll be in a mixed-tenure room, which means you learn alongside experienced operators, not behind them.
I've been doing this for years. Will I actually learn anything new?+
Yes. Experienced admins come for the advanced architecture patterns, real Breeze AI deployment discipline, the political playbook, and a peer-grade room they can't find in Academy or a forum. Most tell us the recalibration alone, seeing a cleaner methodology than the one they invented under pressure, is worth it. And almost everyone is new to Breeze.
How does the application and payment work?+
This is an application-first cohort. You apply through a short form: we confirm your Pro+ portal access, your role, your tenure, and your biggest portal pain. If you're a fit, we send you a payment link for the tier you chose. We do it this way partly because Pro+ access is required, and partly because a strong cohort is a screened cohort. The whole thing takes a few minutes.
Who teaches it?+
The Sidekick Strategies team, led by George B. Thomas. We don't just teach HubSpot. We run HubSpot for a living, for our own business and for our clients. The frameworks in SAOS came out of real portals, not a slide deck.
