HubSpot Updates

HubSpot Mobile Gets a New AI-Powered Home Screen for Sales Reps

August 27, 2026

We've audited hundreds of HubSpot portals. One of the most consistent patterns we see is this: field sales reps are great at the conversation and terrible at the fifteen minutes after it. Not because they don't care. Because the window between meetings is too short, the admin is too tedious, and the phone doesn't make it easy enough.

HubSpot just changed that. The new mobile home screen isn't a cosmetic refresh. It's a rethink of how sales humans should start and end every day in the field.

What This Update Actually Is

HubSpot replaced the default mobile home screen with a new experience called the Action Feed. It's an AI-powered, daily-refreshing list of the highest-priority things a sales rep needs to do right now. Every card in the feed has one bounded, completable action attached to it.

At launch, the Action Feed surfaces three card types:

  • Upcoming Meetings: shows your next scheduled meetings with one-tap access to Meeting Prep or the Mobile Notetaker so you can start recording instantly.
  • Tasks: overdue tasks surface first, then sorted by due date, each with a one-tap Breeze assist button to help you work through them faster.
  • Post-Meeting Actions: after a recorded meeting finishes transcribing, AI-suggested tasks and CRM property updates appear directly in the feed so you can review, accept, edit, or dismiss without opening a laptop.

The My Deals and Sales Insights components are still there, now positioned below the action cards. The feed clears completed and dismissed items automatically and refreshes daily.

Why HubSpot Shipped This

The external problem is the gap between the meeting and the follow-up. For field sales reps, that gap is where deals stall. Follow-up emails don't get written. Tasks don't get created. Deal stages don't move. By the time a rep gets back to their desk, the context is cold and the moment has passed.

The internal frustration is real too. Sales humans already feel like they're doing admin work instead of selling. A mobile CRM that opens to a static dashboard doesn't solve that. It just reminds them of how much they haven't done.

HubSpot's goal here is what they're calling Action Feed Zero: a home screen you can actually work through and clear, the same way a well-managed inbox works. The AI does the drafting and suggesting. The rep stays in control by reviewing and deciding. That's a meaningful distinction.

How to Use It Step by Step

There's no setup required to see the Action Feed. Open your HubSpot mobile app and it's there. Here's how to get value from it on day one:

  1. Open the HubSpot mobile app. The Action Feed is your new home screen. Review what's surfaced at the top of the feed.
  2. Tap an Upcoming Meeting card to open Meeting Prep or launch the Mobile Notetaker to record the meeting as it happens.
  3. Work through Task cards. Overdue tasks show up first. Tap the Breeze assist button on any task to get AI help completing it faster.
  4. After a recorded meeting finishes transcribing, a Post-Meeting Actions card appears. Tap it to open the Action tab inside the meeting.
  5. Inside the Action tab, review AI-suggested tasks. Accept to launch a pre-filled task form, or edit and discard individually.
  6. Review CRM Property Updates suggested for the deal linked to that meeting. Accept, edit, or reject each one. No typing required.
  7. Tap 'Generate follow-up email' to let Breeze draft a context-aware email using the meeting transcript. Review it, add your signature, and send or save as a draft.
  8. Once all suggested actions in the Action tab are accepted or dismissed, the card clears from the feed. Repeat until you hit Action Feed Zero.

What It Touches in Your HubSpot Strategy

This update sits at the intersection of Sales Hub, Breeze AI, and your CRM data quality. The ripple effects are worth thinking through carefully.

CRM Data Quality Gets a Real Boost

The biggest downstream impact is deal and contact data accuracy. When reps accept AI-suggested CRM property updates directly from the Action Feed, deal stages and custom properties get updated within minutes of the meeting, not days later when memory has faded. If your team has struggled with stale pipeline data, this feature directly attacks that problem.

Key Takeaway

Post-meeting CRM property updates suggested by AI and accepted on mobile mean your deal data reflects reality in near real-time. That's a direct improvement to pipeline visibility for managers and RevOps teams.

Meeting Transcription Is Now a Front-Line Sales Tool

The Action Feed connects directly to HubSpot's Notetaker. If your team hasn't activated Notetaker yet, now is the time. The post-meeting action cards only appear for recorded and transcribed meetings, so the quality of your transcripts directly determines the quality of the AI suggestions your reps see.

This also means your Notetaker settings, meeting types, and recording permissions need to be clean before you roll this out to the field. A poorly configured Notetaker will surface weak suggestions and erode rep trust fast.

Task Management Connects to Your Existing Workflows

Tasks accepted from the Action Feed land in HubSpot's standard task system, fully associated with the right contact and deal objects. If your RevOps team has built task-based workflows or uses bulk task reassignment across CRM records, those accepted tasks will flow right into the same system without any extra configuration.

Key Takeaway

Tasks created through the Action Feed are real HubSpot tasks tied to the right objects. They'll show up in queue views, workflows, and manager dashboards just like manually created tasks.

Breeze AI Is Doing More Than Drafting

The Breeze integration here is doing three distinct jobs: extracting next steps from transcripts, suggesting deal property changes, and drafting follow-up emails. If you want a fuller picture of what Breeze can actually do across your portal, this breakdown of Breeze's real capabilities is worth your time. The mobile Action Feed is one of the clearest examples yet of Breeze operating as a true action layer, not just a drafting assistant.

Who Should Care Most

This update is most valuable for specific humans and company profiles:

  • Field sales reps who spend most of their day in meetings and on the road, not at a desk. This was designed for them.
  • Sales managers who need accurate pipeline data but can't get reps to update the CRM consistently. The AI-assisted property updates remove the friction that causes those gaps.
  • RevOps teams who own CRM data quality. Faster, more accurate deal updates mean better forecasting and reporting without chasing reps to fill in fields.
  • Growing companies with small sales teams where each rep carries a heavy meeting load and there's no admin support to handle follow-up logistics.
  • Any organization already using HubSpot's Notetaker for meeting recording. Without transcription active, you'll only see meetings and tasks, not the post-meeting AI actions.

George's Take

I've said for years that the CRM only works if humans actually use it. The brutal truth is that asking a rep to open an app between meetings and manually update five deal fields is a fantasy. They won't do it, and honestly, I don't blame them. What HubSpot has built here is the first mobile experience I've seen that treats the rep's time as genuinely scarce. The AI does the heavy lifting. The rep just decides. That shift from 'data entry tool' to 'decision surface' is exactly what field sales humans have needed. If your team uses Notetaker and your deals are linked to meeting records, this is probably the highest-ROI feature HubSpot has shipped for mobile in years.

The CRM only works if humans actually use it. The Action Feed is the first mobile experience I've seen that treats a rep's time as genuinely scarce and still gets the data into the system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the HubSpot mobile Action Feed?

The Action Feed is a new AI-powered home screen in the HubSpot mobile app. It shows sales reps a prioritized daily list of meetings, tasks, and post-meeting CRM actions. Each card has one completable next step. The feed refreshes daily and clears completed or dismissed items automatically.

Which HubSpot tiers get the new mobile home screen?

The new mobile home screen and Action Feed are available to all hubs and all tiers, including free accounts. There's no paid tier requirement to access the feature.

Do I need HubSpot Notetaker for the Action Feed to work?

You'll see meeting and task cards without Notetaker. However, the Post-Meeting Actions cards, which include AI-suggested tasks, CRM property updates, and Breeze-drafted follow-up emails, only appear after a meeting has been recorded and transcribed. Notetaker must be active for those cards to surface.

How does the AI suggest CRM property updates after a meeting?

After a recorded meeting finishes transcribing, Breeze analyzes the transcript and suggests updates to deal stage or custom properties for deal-linked meetings. Reps review each suggestion on their phone and can accept, edit, or reject it individually. Accepted updates apply to the CRM instantly without any typing.

Can reps still see My Deals and Sales Insights on mobile?

Yes. The My Deals and Sales Insights components are still part of the mobile home screen. They're now positioned below the Action Feed cards rather than at the top of the screen.

What happens when a rep dismisses or completes an Action Feed card?

Completed and dismissed cards are automatically removed from the feed. For Post-Meeting Actions specifically, the card clears once all suggested actions inside the meeting's Action tab have been accepted or dismissed. The feed is designed to reach a clearable state, what HubSpot calls Action Feed Zero.
