HubSpot Product Updates Roundup: What Shipped In The Last 30 Days

HubSpot shipped a wall of product updates in the last two weeks to 30 days, and most of them landed without anybody making noise. A customizable title card on CRM records. Scheduled prompts in Breeze Assistant. Remote MCP connectivity for agents. 13 API updates. A new global home. Associations as lookup properties. Customer Agent on inbound calling. A CX score on tickets. Dashboard PDF exports that finally look like the dashboard. And a brand new Revenue Agent that works your open invoices.

On this episode of HubHeroes, George B. Thomas and Chad Hohn walked through them. Max Cohen was out, taking an actual vacation, which is exactly what humans should be doing.

Here's what makes this roundup different. George had just spent two weeks moving into a new house. Client work, family, unpacking, building furniture. His eyeballs were nowhere near the product updates feed.

Over the last two weeks to 30 days, I might be more like a normal HubSpot user than I have ever been previously in my life.
George

So he did the honest thing. Chad brought a prepared list, and George went in cold, scrolling the updates live on air. If he didn't know it shipped, you probably didn't either.

Where product updates live: right hand side menu, under your portal name, then Product Updates. That one click is the whole reason this episode exists.

Customizable Title Card On CRM Records

Private beta, and you can sign up. For years that card above the left hand sidebar has been whatever HubSpot decided it should be for every object. Now you pick the properties, and because it runs through the universal record editor, you can set it per team. Chad's example: maybe close date is really your signed date, and what your team cares about is revenue start date.

Which sounds like a pure win until Chad names the trade-off. When your record doesn't look like your teammate's, somebody sends a link saying "check out the revenue data on this one" and the other human replies "I don't even see what you're talking about."

I typically try to keep most things on one record if we have a simple process. One record view, one default view, and branch out from default if it's materially required for different job functions that are deeply in HubSpot.
Chad

Scheduled Prompts In Breeze Assistant

This is the one George about lost his everlasting mind over. Breeze Assistant can now run a prompt automatically on a recurring schedule, daily, weekly, monthly, or annually, and drop the answer in your chat list. Chad's use cases:

  • Get a morning brief before you open a single record.
  • Get an end of day summary of the work you did in HubSpot.
  • Pull forecast data from your forecast properties, if your team uses the forecast tool.
  • Run health score reports and surface which accounts to flag.

Chad's framing is the useful part. Think about anything you'd want periodically that isn't easy to structure into a report, the stuff that needs semantics.

George asked whether Breeze is now the 20 percent most humans need. Chad said it's getting closer, then named what's missing: admin-configurable skills, more connectors, and custom connectors for anything with a remote MCP URL.

Remote MCP Connectivity For HubSpot Agents

Related, and nerdier. HubSpot's adding remote MCP connectivity for its agents, so your agent can reach into another system as part of a scheduled agent task. Chad's example: a remote ClickUp MCP so your HubSpot agent can get at your ClickUp account.

You'd be building a developer app, or a project, as HubSpot calls them now. You'll need the 2026.09 beta, which ties to a bigger shift. HubSpot now versions its APIs in the URL, so cutting between versions hurts less.

13 API Updates In 30 Days

While Chad was talking APIs, George was scrolling, so he read the list out loud. He counted them on air and landed on 13 API updates in the last 30 days.

  • Sales and revenue: sales templates public API, sequences public API, price book public API, contracts API, payment links API, payments account public read API.
  • Operations and governance: settings API for provisioning, teams public API, public API for CRM pipeline rules, API support for recurring tasks.
  • Marketing and data: campaign API cloning an asset type endpoint, conversation recap public read API, data sources API for Data Studio.
  • One sunset worth knowing about: HubSpot's deprecating the pipelines API v1.

That's a signal, not a random pile. Chad's read: the more humans build on HubSpot for others, the more server-side traffic HubSpot has to open up, because bots query hundreds of pages at a time.

His sharpest evidence is the HubSpot Agent CLI, which has scopes the API doesn't. It can create user-based views, reports, and dashboards, and Chad said he doesn't think there's an API endpoint for that, while flagging he could be wrong and that was true the last time he looked.

The governance angle is the one to sit with. Pipeline rules now reach your AI connectors, not just your humans.

You can say, hey, Billy Bob can do the thing, but Billy Bob's Claude is not allowed to do the thing, separately. Which is pretty wild to think about, because they're their own users.
Chad

The New Global Home, Now With Custom Metrics

The new global home is a beta you can sign up for, and the part most people will miss is custom metrics. Those are part of the CRM UI rollups, metrics you define yourself, like all deals in a given status. Set someone's default page to home and they land on an AI summary of overdue tasks plus the metrics their team cares about.

Associations As Lookup Properties

Private beta, currently available for one-to-one custom association labels only. Lookup properties let you reference another CRM record as a property value. That captures not just that two records are related, but the nature of the relationship, through a labeled association.

Chad isn't using them yet. His organization is capped out on calculated properties and he's assuming these count as one. He also noted it isn't a new idea. A friend at a partner agency wanted it because Salesforce had it.

Customer Agent On Inbound Calling Channels

Private beta. Chad's caveat first: voice models can hallucinate a little more easily because they're built for real time, so he's curious how rigorously this got tested. The value's still clear. A first line of defense after hours, bailing out to a human when it needs to, calling tools, and using your brand voice.

CX Score On Support Tickets

Service and support managers can now see a unified customer experience score on each support ticket, plus a brief explanation of why the score landed where it did. George's read: if a CX score is here, it can be other places pretty soon.

A companion piece is live now, not beta: Customer Agent coaching opportunities for low CX scores. Chad built something like it himself, scoring meeting transcripts against markdown files describing what his team wants on calls.

Dashboard PDF Exports That Look Like Dashboards

This shipped a couple of months back, and it fixes a credibility problem. You walk a leader through a dashboard, they love it, you set them up on a recurring email, and what arrives looks nothing like it. Now the export matches.

It's like when you see the picture on the menu, and then you get the meal, and you're like, these two things are not the same. What is going on?
George

Revenue Agent, Which George Actually Set Up

This is the brand spanking new one, and the section with real hands-on time behind it. In the middle of complaining about unpacking, George hit the brakes on life to get this running.

Revenue Agent is HubSpot's accounts receivable agent. In HubSpot's own words, an autonomous collections teammate that works every open invoice from the moment it's issued to the moment it's paid. You need HubSpot invoicing, quotes, and that side of Revenue Hub.

George attached it to the shared inbox, ran setup, and it immediately found two open invoices he already knew about. He'd already reached out about one, so he went to delete the task. There was no delete. What there was instead was a conversation.

He told the agent he'd already contacted the human. The agent came back and said, in effect, the user has asked to delete this, however we're going to check in two weeks to see if the invoice has been paid. George's reaction: that's probably better, because if life got busy and two weeks slid by, an indicator beats a clean list. That's human in the loop, and it probably always should be.

Again, not replacing a human, but augmenting the things that they have time to then do.
George

One warning from Chad before you turn it on. If a QuickBooks sync pulled your whole backlog of invoices going back to forever, Revenue Agent will look at that and tell you you've got problems. Sort the historicals first.

Shareable Note Taker Recordings And Smart Deal Progression

There's a new video sharing menu, and the piece buried inside it is big: note taker recordings can now be shared externally. That block kept a lot of humans from adopting the recorder at all. And it isn't only the HubSpot bot. Point it at a Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet recording, and opting into the beta stops the duplicate calls and meetings.

George was in a meeting last week where a team asked about getting a recorder like Fathom into a client's setup. He asked why not the HubSpot note taker. The response was "wait, what, HubSpot has a note taker?" That's how much is shipping and how little gets noticed.

Chad's team had entrance and exit criteria for every stage on a tab they built themselves, before HubSpot even called it Smart Deal Progression. Now they point the note taker at it and it suggests property updates, some on autopilot.

It's worth every HubSpot credit to make your reps not have to. All they have to do is approve on the ones that are not auto extract.
Chad

Your One Action This Week

Chad's action, curiosity: don't be afraid to get into the product updates area. Everything above happened in roughly 30 days, the pace is accelerating, and UNBOUND is coming.

George's action, intention: take the biggest pain point you're facing right now, search HubSpot product updates against that pain point, and see whether something shipped in the last two weeks, 30 days, or 60 days that already solves it.

Curiosity gets you into the feed. Intention gets you the fix. We'll be here next week. Until then, be a happy, helpful, humble human and do some happy HubSpotting.
